DEPARTMENT OF TOURISM MANAGEMENT

The purpose of Tourism Management Department is to train confident individuals who has ability to use and analyze the knowledge which they gained theoretically about tourism sector, to work in middle and senior management of tourism enterprises, place emphasis on ethical values and can interpret and follow the developments in the sector. Tourism Management Department students, take theoretical courses about tourism sector moreover can improve their ability with practical courses such as front office and housekeeping services automation systems courses which are provided in the computer lab and food and beverage services automation systems. The students in this department have the opportunity to take foreign language courses such as French, German and Russian in addition to English.

Tourism Management Department courses languages are 100% Turkish. Training system is based on passing the courses. Relative evaluation system is applied.

Career Fields

Department of Tourism Management graduates can work in hotel enterprises, food and beverage businesses, resorts, tourist information bureaus, travel agencies and tour operators and in the relevant sections of the public institutions.
